Artistic Malacca

This time i went to Malacca with my team to accomplish our MISSION to do research about the backpacking culture. So , of course, this time we went to Malacca with the identity of backpackers. We did what the backpackers do ..... cheap hostel, budget trip and bla bla bla.......

We booked a few hostel rooms in the Ringo's Foyer, a small hostel, 5 minutes walk from Jonker Street. Although the hostel is not a big deal but you should meet the owner personally. A great person, friendly and generous. He knew we were there for research so he introduced us to a few couples of foreign backpackers .... from Switzland, Japan , Vietnam , Philipines and local, who stayed in Ringo's Foyer too. He even brought us around and show us the place to get delicious cendol. Should try out this hostel , one word to describe that place, EXCELLENT !

Malacca is named as a historical city. It is famous with its grandmother stories of the collonization of the west. So we have the Dutch historical building and the Portugese remnants, A famosa. So far so many times i went to Malacca, i did not realised i missed out something. Now i know what do i like about Malacca.

Art is in every corner of Malacca! From the traditional sense of art to the street art. Hmmm.... impressive ! An artistic town !

* there are a lot of shops selling clogs, artistic handmade stuff...... etc

*Aunty sewing the beads on for the beading shoes .... not easy ... no wonder a pair of shoes cost RM100++

* LIBRARY ???? so ancient one ......

*I like the interior design of the shops and the restaurants there. Very artistic deco .....

Most of the pics i took are during our walk in Jonker Street. There are still a lot more pics that we took .... but now i'm having difficulties with the TOTALLY- FLAW - SCREWED UP dvd that my friend burned for me! The extras will be shown in the future.............

Art is everywhere in the town ..... even the ......

Floor ! Spot something?!

i wonder whose doggy's paw's print is that ?!
